Founder and Principal. Andrey Lebkowski is a Business Wine Graduate and trained Viticulturist, with extensive experience in Luxury Goods and FMCG in Sales & Marketing stretching over thirty five years.
Andrey founded Global Cellar Door Strategies in 2004 as a result of a case study investigating a new business model. From the research carried out, it was evident that there was a void in the Wine Industry for a marketing inspired company specialising in the Wine sector.
Early on in his career, whilst working for an international multinational organisation, Andrey achieved the reputation of “quiet achiever” getting the job done with a minimum of fuss, regardless of the complexity or level of difficulty. Regularly handled low performing accounts, Andrey demonstrated persistence and willingness to work closely with the personal of these accounts, achieving a ninety percent success rate.
A persistent nature may be the result of a rich cultural background, born in England, to a Polish father, and Irish mother, yes it is an interesting combination; Andrey is a trained professional musician, has had a long involvement in youth work, and was an appointed Board member of an AFL club.
An avid sports fan (seated) Andrey also enjoys music, cooking and the serenity of being close to water (with a glass of wine, of course)
